I really love directing.  I've had the honor of directing/developing new plays with extremely generous and talented playwrights.  I love working with actors to discover new points of view that help propel the story forward.  I have directed everything from new contemporary plays to epic Sherlock Holmes and Shakespeare to Award Shows for NYC HighSchool World of Expression Awards.   I learn something new on every project, as I tease out what we are trying to say to our audience.   There is nothing like seeing an entire audience leaning forward, reaching with the character onstage, to grasp a thought or feeling, an idea.  I believe that Art can change the world.  I am the Founding Producing Director for JBTheatrical,  a member of Actors Studio Playwright/Directors Workshop and a proud member of the SDC.
