Kathleen was born to be a director. As a child, in Detroit, there was nothing she enjoyed more than creating full productions, after absorbing stories from books, movies or theatre.  She dressed up as the Wicked Witch to climb onto her roof and cackle, watching the little ones scatter then begged the kids to join her in a full production of Cinderella in her garage .  Kathleen was lucky to turn her passion into a career.  She moved to New York in 1986, and soon began developing new plays, as well as directing classics.  Her expertise with large epic ideas and casts is legendary.
